The IBM-3855 is a wireless telephone that offers
remarkable clarity, thanks to its operation on the inherently quieter 2.4GHz
band. For additional convenience, the IBM-3855 has a 3-line display with Call
Waiting Caller ID on the handset. This is a high performance cordless telephone
with extended range - you have to experience it to believe it! In addition to
its superior performance, the IBM-3855 offers the latest convenience features. A
highly visible new call light/voice message waiting indicator is located on the
handset. Advanced design offers up to 6 hours talk time and up to 5 day standby.
A 20-number speed dial directory includes a handy 10-number memory which lets
you dial favorite numbers at the touch of a button. The Page button lets you
summon the person carrying the handset, or (by making it beep) helps you find
the handset if you accidentally misplace it. 65,000 digital security codes
ensure that no one else inadvertently uses your phone line. A PC/Fax data jack
lets you connect an additional device without unplugging your phone. The handset
has ringer and volume controls, and is hearing aid compatible.
